Our Annual Bengali "চড়ুইভাতি"

Every summer, the Utsob family escapes the routine and heads outdoors for one of the most awaited events of the year - our legendary Summer Picnic!

​

Think of a lakeside shelter filled with laughter, music, cricket, fishing, dance, endless adda, kids running everywhere, youth taking over the speakers, and adults passionately debating the correct amount of spices in the mutton curry.

Yes... this is not just a picnic.

​

This is a full Bengali "চড়ুইভাতি" experience. From early morning breakfast preparations to live onsite cooking, everyone becomes part of the fun. Some cook, some supervise the cooking, some give "expert opinions" without helping, and some simply wait near the mutton station pretending to help.

​

Of course, we make sure our vegetarian members are equally cared for with delicious food options for everyone - because at Utsob, food and togetherness go hand in hand.

The entire day becomes a beautiful mix of:

• Fresh air and lakeside vibes

• Fun games and team activities

• Music, dance, and spontaneous performances

• Fishing and outdoor fun

• Adda that never ends

• And the unbeatable aroma of Bengali-style mutton cooking onsite

The picnic is where friendships grow stronger, memories are created, and everyone - from kids to adults - becomes young again for a day.
