Hindu Center of Charlotte
Community Health Services
Utsob's Youth Group participated in the Health Fair at the Hindu Temple, an incredibly fulfilling experience for its members. Working alongside a dedicated team of volunteers and healthcare professionals, the group quickly learned how essential communication and collaboration are to making an event of this scale run smoothly. Members helped direct attendees, assist with registrations, and support the medical staff, making sure everyone in the community felt welcomed and cared for.
Knowing that their efforts gave local families access to free health screenings and vital wellness resources filled the group with pride. Giving back to the temple community, sharing in the energy of the event, and seeing the difference they made together made all the hard work worthwhile.
This health fair marked Utsob Youth's first experience in healthcare volunteering, and it won't be the last. Their involvement reflects the values the group was built on: community, well-being, and service.
Green Ambassadors at Odissi Odyssey, UNCC Charlotte
Utsob Youth Group is proud to serve as Green Ambassadors at Odissi Odyssey!

Charlotte Utsob’s Youth Chapter is excited to participate in Odissi Odyssey at UNC Charlotte, hosted by the Department of Dance on May 2nd and 3rd 2026.

This meaningful event brings together culture, learning, and sustainability, with Swami Sarvapriyananda as the keynote speaker. As Green Ambassadors, Utsob Youth Group will work alongside event organizers to promote eco-friendly practices and encourage community members to take small but meaningful steps toward a greener future.

During the event, our youth volunteers will host a sustainability stall where attendees can take an interactive quiz through a QR code, learn about green initiatives, and receive small earth-friendly gifts for successful participation. Attendees will also be able to access and complete a Sustainability Pledge using a QR code.

On May 3rd, Utsob Youth Group will proudly take the pledge on stage, standing together in front of the larger audience to show our commitment to protecting the planet.

At Charlotte Utsob, we believe culture is strongest when it is shared - and community is strongest when we take action together.
